Japanther is one of my favorite bands so I was super excited/honored when they called and asked me to art direct a set for a show/music video. I geeked out and made this neon charged installation at Avenue 50 Mini Museum (in Highland Park) for the only all ages show they played during this whole last tour (blame it on the booking agent who has since been fired). They shot footage of the show and then came back the next day to finish up some more shots. I can’t wait to see the finished video!! Check out their new album “Rock n’ Roll Ice Cream”. It’s delicious!
